    Event description

Art Jam's workshops and programs are designed by an arts therapist and community arts worker, to help participants achieve a creative flow state, as a tool for improving mental health and creating better connections within communities.

There is no experience or skills required in our processed based creative workshops.

We guide participants to create something meaningful in an environment free from judgement and pressure.

“Stencil Styles” / Stencil Screen printing

We will be looking at pop art styles and how stencils can be used in different contexts.

Participants will design and cut out a stencil to represent their own unique style or message.

You can then screen print your design onto a cotton tote bag, or BYO garments to print onto as well! You can keep your stencil to use as many times as you want.

Screen printing is a great method for repeating a design. It is used for making clothing and fabric designs, as well as posters.
