Event description

The Ethics Centre's Online Youth Workshops

The Ethics Centre is bringing together young people from around Australia to talk about ethical issues that matter to them.

If you are 13-17 years old and would like to talk about and discuss your experiences and perspectives on a range of ethical issues with other teenagers, we would love to hear from you. Please make sure you read the checkout information carefully, as you will need to get permission from a parent or guardian to attend. If you are 18-25 years old, go here instead.

We welcome everyone from all backgrounds, locations and identities.

The workshops are 90 minutes long and completely free.

A graphic artist will be recording the themes and ideas of the sessions. The recordings will not contain identifying information about any participants. You can see examples here.

About The Ethics Centre & Workshop Goals

One way that The Ethics Centre brings our purpose to life is by helping individuals and organisations make better decisions. Australia's youth are central to our vision, and we hope to grow our collective understanding, our reach, and our impact on young people's lives by creating a youth engagement platform.

Our end goal is to produce an ethics-specific youth strategy that will help empower and educate young people to make informed, everyday ethical decisions and to provide solutions to some of the ethical issues young people face. In doing so, we hope to create connections and explore opportunities to collaborate with young people to amplify their voices and impact.
