You are invited to a special (free!) launch event for the newly upgraded Youth Engagement Resource Platform - YERP!Â
YERP is YACVic's one-stop website for all things youth participation, leadership and advocacy written for both young people and the youth sector.
The Youth Participation Practice Network (YPPN) is a thriving community of practice coordinated by YACVic for Victorian professionals who are committed to empowering young people through youth participation, youth engagement and supporting the voice of young people.
Following the launch YACVic will be trialling some brand-new youth participation training content which you can sample for free!
Running of the day:Â
10:30am - 11:30am -Â YPPN presents YERP launch (+ live stream)
11:30am - 1pm - Networking lunchÂ
1pm - 3pm - Newly upgraded Youth Participation Training Taster
What to expect
The morning will run as a launch event with speeches and panel discussions.Â
This will be followed by a networking lunch.
The afternoon will feature interactive activities to spark your passion and fill up your toolbox for effective youth participation - putting YERP into action!
Who should attend
This event is open to all in the youth sector and those who work with young people in a relational way and where the young person is their priority.
