Yue Studios x Illustris Models Popup Event

Take your cosplay to the next level with this pop up event by Yue Studio and Illustris Models! This ticket is for the Illustris Models Crafting & Workshop Area only. To shoot with Yue Studio, please make sure you book a slot through their booking portal!

The Crafting and Workshop Area will be dedicated to all things crafting and sharing knowledge! There will be space for free-crafting, where you can bring cosplay WIPs from home to work on with like-minded people and socialise with other cosplayers in a chill, out of convention setting. Throughout the day, there will also be a series of guided workshops:

• Basics of Pattern Drafting (confirmed)

• Posing and Photoshoots (confirmed)

• Intro to Weathering (tentative)

• Foundations of Makeup for Masc and Fem Cosplays (tentative)

Schedule and more information on these workshops will be released on social media closer to the event!

All attendees at the Crafting & Workshop area will have access to an exclusive FREE Yue Studio set (unmanned) for photos - so feel free to bring a cosplay to change into when you're not crafting to snap your own photos during the day!

Note on Free-Crafting Zone:

• We ask that you be respectful of the venue and the people around you while crafting

• NO aerosols or crafting materials with heavy fumes

• You MUST bring your own cutting mats for foam/leatherworking

• All mess must be cleaned up by those crafting

• Any damage to the venue or tables will be on-charged to those responsible, and may result in events like this not being allowed to run again in the future. Please be respectful and don't ruin it for everyone!

• While we should have access to power, power points may be limited, so we recommend more analogue crafts like hand-sewing and embroidery, cutting and taping printed sewing patterns, chainmail and more! We will bring a small supply of extension cords, but it may be worth bringing your own!

• Wig styling is welcome, but please be conscious of potential asthmatic attendees - Got2B Glued gel variants are preferred over hairspray for this event

• We ask that all crafting attendees please be extra cautious with wet supplies such as paints and glues - we will be providing drop sheets for the area, but you can never be too safe!
