Yule Fire Gathering - winter solstice

Join Mel from Inner Alchemy & Luis Piazzetta from Beyond Sounds for an evening of magic and music. 

Yule Fire is a gathering together to support each other in the depths of winter and through the darkest night to welcome the return of the sun as it begins it's rebirth toward spring. It is also a full moon, so we will be working with the themes of death, rebirth and illumination.

We begin with a smudging circle - clearing the collective field and supporting each other. 

Mel will then lead us in opening ceremony - calling in allies and grounding us into dark mother energy.

We will then begin the Cacao Blessing to open our hearts with prayers for our intention for the inner journey and then warm up with some movement, with Luis leading us into the body with some beautiful medicine music to help embody intentions and gently coming to stillness for the sound healing. 

This will be guided shamanic journey deep into the mysterious heart of dark mother, and the energy of conception and gestation where we surrender to the unknown as we sow seeds of intention deep into the fertile soil of the psyche and then surrender to the mystery as we wait for the seedlings of change to emerge. We will be weaving in a communion with the divine feminine energy and receive her moonlit “illumination’ - insights, guidance, intuition for each person on their journey.  

With the wisdom of this beautiful illumination we will then hold a ritual, receiving some seeds for sowing this guidance and intention in our gardens, and sharing this in circle with the community energy, as we finish in a invocation with some medicine songs, lighting candles to welcome back the sun.

We will then feast together as we share a pot luck dinner around the Yule Fire together.  Bring an instrument to play if you feel to share your music.

Please bring a plate of food to share, and a blanket to use during the sound journey. Dress warm!

Parking is on Glen Rd - please be careful not to block access for our neighbours driveways.  Follow the driveway to the right and the campfire is down near the tents at the rear of the property.

If it is rainy then we will be in the retreat space, or we may postpone if absolutely necessary, but the forecast looks good for now.
