A Winter Solstice Gathering

As the wheel turns once more, we arrive at Yule — the longest night and the deepest stillness. This is the sacred hinge of the year, when we pause to honour the dark, and witness the first flicker of light returning.

Yule is a time of gestation — the moment between what has been and what will be. Just as the sun is reborn from the womb of night, we too are invited to turn inward, to rest and reflect, to dream in the dark and remember our own inner light.

This is the time to tend the hearth of our being — to gather in circle, in warmth and reverence, while all around us the land sleeps. To sit in the sacred dark is to trust in the mystery, to honour what is unseen but deeply felt, and to listen for the quiet stirrings of what wishes to emerge next.

As the Earth teaches us, growth begins in the dark. Seeds quicken in the soil long before they reach for the light. And so too do our own longings, visions, and prayers take root in these fertile depths.

Come gather with us as we honour the turning of the year, light the spark of our inner fire, and align with the deep wisdom of winter. Let us rest together, reflect together, and return to what truly sustains us — through song, ceremony, silence, and shared intention.
