Yulli's Byron Bay & Howl & Moan Records have joined forces to provide a unique live music experience located On the Terrace above Yulli's & opposite Howl & Moan. This first event will be the debut show by local Dub/Reggae Supergroup - Slim Grilla! They are a five-piece band, incorporating a live dub station on stage as part of their line-up, alongside horns, bass, drums, guitar, keys, and percussion.
Drawing inspiration from Jamaican Dub Reggae Pioneers such as King Tubby, Scientist, Mad Professor, and Roots Radics, to name a few, and having members that have played in several different acts locally and abroad, performing at major festivals and shows throughout Australia and all over Europe.
They have been refining their sound in the hills of Myocum for the past two years and are now ready to bring the tunes to a live audience!
Joining them is Mike Sanders - local multi-instrumentalist & songwriter inspired by bits and pieces of Ethio-Jazz, Afrobeat, 60’s Surf and Psychedelia.
Providing the vibes throughout the night is DJ Super Ape.
This is a limited capacity event, it is fully licensed with food & beverages available (No BYO). Entry is restricted to 18+
