Description

This interactive workshop will include writing exercises, questions, and activities that aim to ignite your curiosity about your characters and help to explore the story the character wants or needs to tell. Using a character you’re already writing or one you create for the exercise, we will be exploring objects, setting, and interviewing characters to reveal who the character is, what they want, why they don’t have it, what they’re willing to do to get what they want, and of course, what they’re afraid of. The aim of the workshop is to help you generate ideas, questions, and curiosities that will drive the story and/or keep you curious enough to return to the page.
