Zambra
Event description
The December 6th Dot Jazz Series concert features Zambra.
Zambra (from the Arabic word for "gathering") is a unique collaboration of global artists from Andalusia, NYC, Atlanta, Catalonia, and Tehran. Zambra creates imaginative arrangements that bridge flamenco, Persian classical, Indian, Catalonian, and jazz traditions. Through original compositions and traditional melodies, the quintet celebrates cultural connection, innovation, sisterhood, and the art of improvisation.
Devon Gates (bass, vocals)
