Our guest speaker is Dr Julie Monis-Ivett OAM, inaugural Board Member of Birthing Kit Foundation Australia and charter member of the Zonta Club of Adelaide Hills. Julie has coordinated birthing kits since 2000 and brings a wealth of insight into how these simple, life-saving kits are delivered, used, and supported through local training and partnerships.

In this short and impactful session, Julie will provide a real-world update on the journey of the birthing kits—from assembly lines here in Australia to maternal health programs overseas. You’ll hear about the outcomes being achieved and the women and communities these kits reach.
