    Event description

Join us for an enlightening evening where you'll have the chance to engage with problem solvers, innovators and entrepreneurs, ask burning questions, and explore the fascinating realms of STEM. Don't miss out on a golden opportunity to expand your knowledge and gain insights directly from experts in the field!

You will meet entrepreneurs using the zero waste method in order to work towards solving global problems. Gain insights into practical zero-waste methods that you can implement in your personal and professional life. Meet like-minded individuals who share your passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Emma La Rocca is a zero waste designer, pioneer in sustainable fashion and founder of emroce, a zero waste swimwear company based in Papamoa. She creates inspirational designs to encourage change, as the current production and consumption models are too damaging to our health and our planet. She focuses on pattern making to create zero waste lay plans and is constantly researching for innovative sustainable fabrics.

Charlotte Greer is an entrepreneur and founded the zero waste cleaning company Veto. While studying a degree in economics & management focusing on sustainable development and circularity, Charlotte decided to put the theory into practice and created her zero waste cleaning company called Veto. It is based here in Tauranga and has been successful since its creation 4 years ago!

It is the perfect event for high-school and uni students to get inspired and meet role models but also for adults that are eager to explore more when it comes to zero-waste.

Mark your calendars and seize the chance to broaden your horizons at this exclusive talk with STEM experts!

    When: Monday 24th June 2024, 5:30pm
