Liz Prescott is our Guest Speaker for the June Dinner Meeting. Liz joined Peel Youth Services as CEO in January 2018 and in 2021 after 30 years working with youth, Peel Youth Services rebranded as Choyces to acknowledge the work that they do with children as well as youth.
"I am committed to the principles of early intervention and prevention and am proud of our team's impact on the lives of children and young people from birth to the age of 25" said Liz. Choyces Early Learning Centre is located on 7 acres at 432 Lakes Road, in Greenfields. Youth and parenting programs are run out of the Mandurah office at 119 Pinjarra Road, Mandurah.
Liz has worked in the public, private and not for profit sectors addressing disadvantage through education, employment and training. Liz joined Peel Community Development Group in 2019 and was the Chairperson from 2020-2022.
With a background in training, innovation and social enterprise Liz has a reputation as a not for profit leader that addresses the changing needs of the community through a business model of creating sustainable income streams rather than relying on grant based funding.
