Zonta Club of Northern Beaches celebrates 50 Years of Service and Advocacy

Zonta International envisions a world in which women’s rights are recognised as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential. 
Join us for our celebratory dinner featuring Guest Speaker Anita Jacoby AM, one of Australia’s most awarded TV producers as well as a respected Media Executive, Board Director & Author. 
Hear about our -
Student Support Grants - financial  support to high school girls enabling them to reach their full potential. Study Grants assist them with Tertiary Education.Workskills Grants  help a woman enter or re-enter the Workforce after domestic violence.Rental assistance when leaving the Shelter starts them back onto the road of recovery. Supported by a school starter kit, a kitchen starter kit,  and yes a ticket to the school formal finishes their days at school on a high, women can reach their full potential. 
Our role on the Northern Beaches Domestic Violence Network sees us participating in local events including the 16 days of activism walk and working with local agencies.Zclubs -Zonta in the schools at Mater Maria College and Mackellar Girls Campus empower students to see a bigger picture than their local area.
Zonta Awards for Leadership in schools are presented annually .
We participate in Zonta District projects  providing silk Breast Care Cushions to women post operative at the Northern Beaches Hospital and SAN and recently donated 100 cushions to Wagga Wagga Hospital.The schools and community participte in fundraising and packing Birthing Kits -allowing women in developing countries to have  “clean birth”.
