A FEAST OF FIDDLES - Melbourne Scottish Fiddlers & Friends return to Creswick

Playing tunes and singing together for nearly 3 decades, the (famous) Melbourne Scottish Fiddle Club manages to keep renewing itself, with the recruitment of ever younger players, who bring with them energy, passion and an adventurous approach to an ancient tradition. Come hear them, and support their efforts to raise funds to take a group of 30 players to Nova Scotia and beyond. Canada has long been an inspiration for fiddlers around the world, and now its the turn of this legendary Australian group - flourishing in our own backyard - to make the trip. In 2025 they turn 30, and proving that their outlook is younger than ever, they are determined to take on the world. Multi award-winning, favourites at folk festivals across the country, you can hear their CONCERT right here in Creswick's grand old Town Hall.  The concert will be followed by a break for dinner in one of Creswick's fantastic cafes or pubs, then right back into it with the DANCE - the famous Untamed Ceilidh, where you get to dance the night away, old style, with a teacher and the same live band.
