About this event
This half-day seminar will provide up-to-date and practical information on Queensland’s parliamentary committee system and its impacts on public sector officers.
The structure and purpose of the portfolio-based committees will be outlined, together with an overview of the role of parliamentary committees, particularly in relation to Bills and the estimates process.
You will learn about the committee inquiry process and your role as a public sector officer in providing information to parliamentary committees.
REMINDER: The air-conditioning in the venue room can be very cool, so please come prepared.
