Myeloma Australia heads to Parliament
Description
On Wednesday 25 March, Myeloma Australia will be in Parliament House (Canberra) to formally release our Economic Impact of Myeloma in Australia study. This landmark report lays bare the true cost of myeloma, not just to individuals and families, but to the Australian economy and health system.
For too long, myeloma has remained under recognised and under prioritised. Despite being one of the most complex and costly blood cancers to treat, it has not received the focus, investment, or urgency it demands. This study changes that conversation. It gives policymakers the evidence they need and the responsibility they cannot ignore.
This is our moment to be heard.
Please join us in the Level 1 Theatrette.
We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to allow time to find parking and clear Parliament House security before making your way to the theatrette.
