'EMBERS': Apollo Bay Theatre Collective 2025
Event description
OPENING NIGHT SOLD OUT! Tickets are still available for ALL other sessions.
'EMBERS', a touching play about the effects of the 2003 bushfires in Victoria's North East and Gippsland, and the fighting spirit of small communities.
Drawn from the real-life stories of those involved, the play features over 50 characters, performed by an ensemble of 14. Gripping, lyrical, comically overwrought when it seems tragic, and deeply moving when all appears lost. Embers is the story of a fire - and the people who conquered it.
Playwright: Campion Decent
Director: Terence O' Connell
