Isn’t it time we banned bottom trawling?

Around 68% of our fish in Aotearoa is caught by bottom trawling.  Does it affect us in the Bay of Plenty or is it just happening elsewhere?  Should we care?  Is it really “sustainable” and can we afford to continue with this practice?
