Join Tim Maples and The Good Food Group for an evening exploring how to enrich your soil, grow nutrient dense foods and hear tips on how to maximise plant-based nutrition. Topics covered will include:

  • Soil texture and structure
  • Biological aspects including earthworms and fungi
  • Tips for maximising use of small spaces
  • Creating conditions for healthy plants to thrive
  • Companion planting
  • Shifting towards organic fertilisers
  • Consideration of macro, micro and trace elements
  • Growing and eating a diverse range of plants
  • Growing and eating seasonal veggies

You'll come away with practical know-how to enable you to grow and eat more nutritious vital foods and boost your vitality.

About Tim Maples

Tim has had 40 years experience as an organic grower, lecturer and author.

A graduate of Lincoln University where he co-founded the Biological Husbandry Unit, he has also served on both the Soil and Health and Biogro executive teams.

He currently lives on a 15 acre organic farm in Nelson where he runs field days to demonstrate sustainable living and organic regenerative growing practises.
