Event description
This community forum will help local people in the Hastings electorate hear directly from their candidates about key issues, like:
- The rising cost of living, and how clean, affordable energy might help
- How we protect our natural environment for future generations
- Addressing issues in our healthcare and education systems
All known candidates have been invited, and will be given equal opportunity to share their vision and policies to make it happen. The event will be expertly and independently moderated by broadcaster Tracee Hutchison, with keynote speech by 14-year-old local environmentalist Leroy Spender.
Doors open at 6:45pm for a 7pm start.
This event is co-hosted by Environment Victoria, Victorian National Parks Association, Voices of Mornington Peninsula, Save Westernport and Repower Mornington Peninsula.
