Jazz Pianist Matt Baker is an Aussie made good in the New York Jazz scene! Home for a short trip, he’s giving us his new A RHAPSODY OF GERSHWIN concert, with uplifting, joyous music from two of the most celebrated composers/lyricists of the 20thCentury.
Be thrilled by excerpts of the original score, with Matt on piano & vocals, accompanied by his talented band & featuring the smooth as satin voice of Briana Cowlishaw.
The concert opens with the Rhapsody’s true classical-esque beginning, moving through the different worlds of Gershwin show, to crescendo with the Rhapsody’s grand, majestic ending.
