Nurture Your Dark Space
Event description
Nurture is the name; wholesome spaces and diversity are the aim!
In contrast to our first event, our second instalment focuses on accepting our darker sides and working on our heavy, winter feelings - through movement and human connection.
In hopes of quite literally lighting up the space through our own self expression, the theme for this event is LIGHT.
This may mean draping yourself in twinkle fairy lights, wearing a lightly coloured flowing cape, or dusting off those laser gloves you bought during lock down that haven't been used enough. It's completely open to your own interpretation.
During the dead of winter, many of us find solace in exploring our darker side. We tend to hibernate and delve inward, in the comfort of our cosy safe spaces. We don't wish to give too much away just yet - but through the power of multi-genre music, warm & inviting interactive spaces and performances, Nurture hopes to create a safe space for you to delve inward, play with, and truly nurture your dark space.
The only light and dark I see are creativity and destruction.
Happiness and sadness are one in the same, your feelings are what makes you human and they're all as valid and important as the other.
You're perfect as you are.

Come create with us.
