Special Event for Tradespeople and Insurance Assessors involved in the Northern Rivers residential rebuild post-flood.

Tradies, Insurance Assessors and Special Guests - You are invited to attend this free event where James Davidson from JDA Co. and guests will share their experience rebuilding flood resilient in Queensland over the last decade. They understand the role of insurers and the challenges faced by trades trying to help property owners rebuild more flood resilient.  There will be ample time for you to raise your concerns and ask questions. The event is free with dinner and a drink provided. Drinks also available to purchase. Bookings are essential, as the venue capacity is limited.

This FREE event is for trades and insurance assessors involved in the Northern Rivers residential rebuild effort to consider what can be done as part of the restoration process to minimise future flood damage.

It is designed to give you information, ideas & knowledge and to give you an opportunity to share yours with others.

Founder of JDA Co. James Davidson and his builder mate Tom who was born and raised in the Northern Rivers and does a lot of flood resilience work, will lead the Q & A session that starts at 6pm. Dinner and drinks available from 5pm.

JDA Co. runs a Flood Resilient Homes Program in Brisbane, helping Brisbane residents prepare for, live through, and recover from flooding events.

In response to the major flooding events in the Northern Rivers of NSW, and the predictable likelihood of it happening again sometime in the future, local not for profit organisations, Mullum Cares and Zero Emissions Byron, rapidly mobilised to inspire and support residential property owners to rebuild flood resilient in order to reduce future loss and trauma.

This event is brought to you by these organisations who support our local communities to reduce emissions and the impacts of Climate Change.  Please help them help our community in a way that only you can.

The materials and strategies implemented in the reconstruction process will determine our region’s flood resilience.

Let's help our local communities to build back flood resilient so we can minimise the loss, trauma and cost next time.

If you're a local homeowner who wants to build back flood resilient DIY, you are also welcome however tickets are limited and trades and insurance assessors will be prioritised for seating.

The event will be live streamed on the Zero Emissions Byron Facebook page and available as a recording for anyone else who needs this knowledge.
