Learn how to work a sewing machine and the basics of sewing with a sewing machine
Ever wanted to fix that seam, or turn up a pair of pants? Make-do is holding a sewing basics workshop. We have several machines available for make-do members to borrow and now you can learn how to use them and the basics of sewing. Bring your own machine or use one of ours. Shelley and Alison, two members of the local community who are avid sewists will show your the ropes and provide tips. Bring your sewing project if you like.
This is a FREE event for make-do members. You can join up and become a member of make-do and borrow all sorts of items for just $22 a quarter here.
We also have some free memberships available for concession card holders, unemployed etc. Email us here to enquire about concessionary membership.
