The dry season jigsaw - putting good management into practice

Local producers are invited to this relaxed and practical event focused on managing seasonal conditions and connecting you with services and support.

Event details:

Riverina Local Land Services invites you to join us from 7:30 am for breakfast and the opportunity to chat with technical staff and service providers about:

• climate and drought preparedness

• animal health and production

• feeding and containment strategies

• wellbeing and business support services.

Guest speakers from 8:30 am:

• Daryll Kitto and family will share their experience with confinement feeding, Optiweigh, EiD, pastures and silage

• Lara Mitchell- Temora District Veterinarian, Riverina Local Land Services

• Geoff Minchin - Drought Adoption Officer Program

On the day:

• Water quality and feed testing kits (bring stock water samples)

• Breakfast and lunch will be provided

• Rural Financial Counselling Service (RFCS) and Rural Adversity Mental Health Program (RAMHP)
