The Lion King Jr in Whangarei

A remarkable tale of hope and adventure, Glass Ceiling Arts Collective Whangarei presents, The Lion King Jr.
This production has found its way into the hearts of millions.

The African savanna comes to life with King Mufasa, his son, and the future King Simba, Nala, Pumbaa, Timon, Scar, and more spectacular characters as they journey from Pride Rock to the jungle and back again. Scar is a resentful and jealous uncle who wants Pride Rock for himself and his hungry hyenas. He will even betray his brother and nephew to get there. Watch as Simba overcomes many challenges in this inspiring, coming-of-age story. 

This vibrant tale has captivated worldwide audiences. With Sir Elton John and Tim Rice's music. Additional music and lyrics by Lebo M, Mark Mancina, Jay Rifkin, and Hans Zimmer.
