Volunteer Information Night: Big Group Hug
Event description
Are you looking for opportunities to volunteer in your community or from home? Do you want to make a difference in the lives of children and their families, while reducing landfill waste?
Come along to the Big Group Hug volunteer info night on Tuesday 13th
September to discover how you can help your local community!
Big Group Hug helps children and families living in crisis through the provision of essential new and pre-loved items – items of complete necessity – via our network of 100+ welfare agencies, setting our young recipients up for success whilst reducing landfill. Last year, over 2,400 families in Melbourne requested aid from Big Group Hug for their children, reaching 4,300+ children, from newborns to 16 years of age. Sadly we are seeing a continual increase in the number of families needing our help.
We desperately need volunteers to help keep up with the increasing demand for our service. Whether you can volunteer from our main Bundoora warehouse, our satellite hub in Airport West or from home, we would appreciate your help.
Available roles include:
- Warehouse Greeter
