Description
As the sounds of birdsong greet the new day, and the breeze ruffles the leaves and perfumes the air with the scent of the sea, wander down to the beautiful Community Garden on Lamb Island and learn the charming ancient art of haiku. Originally from Japan, the haiku is appreciated around the world.
Join our special guest Karen Throssel at her workshop and discover this deceptively simple form of poetry.
Bring a pen and notepad, and a mat if you prefer to sit on the ground. If the wind is blowing out of the south it will be chilly, so you might also like to bring a warm jacket.
