Let Christine guide you expertly through the process - all materials provided for you to create your very own unique piece and discover the joy of working in Macrame

This workshop would be suitable for beginners to experienced attendees in Macrame

Step into a relaxed, creative space and discover the art of macramé in a beautiful small-group workshop in Ross, Tasmania.

In this hands-on session, you’ll create your own stylish and practical macramé market bag. You’ll be guided step-by-step through the process, learning foundational knotting techniques while building confidence in a supportive and enjoyable environment.

Macramé is a timeless fibre art created through knotting, and in this workshop you’ll learn how simple techniques can be used to create something both beautiful and functional. Whether you’re completely new or returning to the craft, you’ll work at your own pace as your piece comes together.

All materials are provided, along with expert guidance throughout the session. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have created your own durable, reusable market bag - perfect for everyday use.

Expect a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, plenty of encouragement, and the opportunity to connect with like-minded people while enjoying a mindful, creative experience.

When:

13th September 2026 (weekend courses also available Aug ( Beach Boho) or stay and attend the Sip and Knot evening event the night before) making a macrame and crystal pendant

9am - 3pm approx

All materials for practice and take-home project will be provided.
