Event description

The Round featuring musicians Claire Conway, Shoecraft (solo), Jon Andrew Franklin, Higgs

+ spoken word poet Emily J. Mundy

Claire Conway: www.claireconwaymusic.com

A Seattle-based artist blending heartfelt, confessional lyrics with graceful and intimate instrumentation, Claire Conway is a songwriter and storyteller with an ear for authenticity. With a wise-beyond-her years level of poise and introspection that draws comparisons to folk-minded songwriters like Leith Ross and Eliza McLamb, Claire draws listeners in with hushed guitar melodies, warm vocals, and compelling lyrical meditations on the birth and death of love, growing up, and self-discovery.

Shoecraft (solo): www.spotify.com/artist/6cTbm24LHutNXmqf6f4JJZ

Shoecraft is an ambient folk/rock project from Everett, WA.

2016 welcomed their inaugural album, The Whisper II - a collection of DIY musings inspired by Sufjan Stevens, Kings of Convenience and Dry the River. “Cheeks” accumulated international traction via thousands of playlists both personal and curated, and was utilized by the BBC in 2018.

Jon Andrew Franklin: www.jonandrewfranklin.com

Three first names, last chair in the orchestra, long winded storyteller, pop songwriter with a violin.

Higgs: www.higgsmusic.com

Blending acoustic hip hop and island sounds into his soulful songwriting, Higgs is here to make you feel something. The Hā'ole boy Hawaii native has shared the stage with many of Hawaii’s top musicians, carving a lane that's as unique as the island he grew up on.
