Uncovering the quiet truth around women's health issues

Sexual Health Quarters (SHQ) is the modern trading name for the Family Planning Association of WA, a long-established provider of clinical services and education covering all aspects of sexual and reproductive health (SHR).

In 2022, 100 Women members funded The HERS Project - a peer-based, culturally safe series of workshops for 35 young culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) women aged between 13 and 25. Based in the Perth region, the program promoted education and empowerment on a range of topics related to sexual health, respectful relationships, rights, and gender equality.

Now that SHQ have concluded the HERS Program and submitted their acquittal, we invite a small group of members to join us on 6th November to hear directly from the team on the incredible ripple effect of the HERS program.

The event will include a visit to their new premises in Northbridge, a panel session with the facilitators of the HERS program and an overview of some of the biggest challenges facing SHQ in terms of women's sexual health.
