Event description
05 June 2025
Want to help accelerate social innovation in South Australia?
The grand challenges of our time, such as homelessness, addiction, mental health - can't be solved by single solutions
working in isolation. 10x10 is where people who care about social innovation come to connect and this event is
hosted by a committee of volunteers! Join us on 5 June 2025 for a shark-tank style pitch and
crowdfunding event to support three exceptional early stage Social Purpose Organisations (SPOs) innovating to
solve social challenges in SA.
Donate to attend and help make a difference
By making a tax-deductible donation of $100 giving you access to the event, you’re directly helping these
organisations to grow their impact. Upon arrival, two ‘pledge tokens’ worth $50 each will be provided to each
attendee – you’ll select and donate your tokens to the organisation that resonates with you on the night. As an
added bonus, on the night you will also be able to enjoy complimentary drinks and canapes thanks to our generous
sponsors, networking opportunities, and a live auction.
How the shark-tank style event works:
- Arrive for networking with values-aligned professionals
- Listen to 3 innovative NFPs pitch for 5 minutes each
- Hear the questioning from our 'Sharks for Good' who help unpack the mission, business model and sustainability
- Ask your own questions of the NFPs
- Vote for your preferred organisation with your $50 token
- Engage with further fundraising by getting involved with the raffles and auctions
Who will be pitching:
- GOGO Foundation supports society's most vulnerable women and non-binary people with the skills, tools and community they need to overcome barriers in order to secure safe and sustainable employment.
- Lighthouse Youth Projects helps young people realize their full potential and encourages them to make positive change, through riding bikes with passionate mentors.
- AFDIF is a non-profit organization that believes screen, media, and performing arts content are crucial and influential shapers of Australian culture. AFDIF’s mission is to recognize and showcase films and screenplays that represent cultural diversity, under-represented and minority groups in our communities, and those films created with a balanced, diverse, and inclusive team or crew.

What is 10x10?
10x10 is a not-for-profit that is working to accelerate social innovation in Australia. We do this by
supporting early stage innovative not-for-profits to access funding and networks enabling them to grow. These
crowdfunding events are organised by volunteer committees of local people who care about social impact and doing
things better (innovation). For the organisations, the crowdfunding events help raise critical seed funding, and
10x10 works with philanthropic partners to provide a pathway for scale funding that is multi-year and
multi-figure.
Who we support
The organisations we support punch above their weight. They’re under seven years old, have revenue less than AUD2M and
are using innovative solutions to solve societal challenges across cause areas including domestic violence,
homelessness, recidivism, mental health, accessibility and food insecurity.
Some examples of organisations we've supported that have gone on to do big things include OrangeSky Laundry, Confit
Pathways and This Is A Conversation Starter (TIACS).
