$20 Preview Class for the winter sessions of "Creative Workspace"

December 29, 2025: 6-8p, online

This class will be held virtually via Zoom and will serve as a preview for the Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday classes.

If you choose to move forward with the program, your $20 fee for this preview class can be applied to the registration class for the 12-week program!

Dates for the 12-week program include:

Monday Evenings -- (6-8pm hybrid) -- January 5 - March 30 with in-person classes at Fremont Abbey on January 19, February 16, and a Final Showing at Fremont Abbey on March 23

Tuesday Evenings -- (6-8pm online) -- January 6 - March 24

Wednesday Afternoons -- (12-2pm online) -- January 7 - March 25

with a combined final showing at Fremont Abbey on March 23

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

Hi! I'm Jenna Bean Veatch. I'm a multi-disciplinary performing artist and queer single-mama-by-choice who has been accused of creating “pure, unadulterated, heart-stopping whimsy.” (Thanks, Bret Fetzer.)

I've made dance-theater shows, stop-action animation, music, written work, prompts, pants, community gatherings, and one gorgeous little human. I'm also the creator and host of The Not-Creepy Gathering for People Who Want to Fall In Love, a participatory event designed to facilitate connection and spread love.

My work has been supported by Artist Trust, 4Culture, the Seattle Mayor's Office of Arts & Cultural Affairs, and the Bossak/Heilbron Charitable Foundation. I hold an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts & Creative Inquiry from the California Institute of Integral Studies.

Fremont Abbey is ADA accessible on either level.
For most events we have a mix of padded chairs and standing room.
Seating is not guaranteed or reserved unless noted.
To respect the performing artists and your fellow attendees, please refrain from talking during the performances
Please limit photos during the show so as to not distract other attendees from the experience.
Phone and video may be permitted for some shows, from the standing area only please.
No professional cameras or cameras with shutters allowed in the venue
We are an all ages venue. Kids 10 & under are free at Abbey Arts concerts & arts events unless noted.
