12th Annual Joe's Valley Festival

Pack the climbing shoes and cowboy hats! The 12th annual Joe's Valley Fest is on for October 1st-4th, 2026. Come join us in Emery County for 4 fun filled days of climbing and local artisan clinics, steer ridin' and hide racin' at the rodeo games, local food and music, a drawing for prizes like no other, gettin' down at the Joedown, volunteer projects, and so much more!

Our mission as a nonprofit is to enhance the local economy, build community, and drive sustainability by bringing rock climbers and locals together around our shared enthusiasm for the outdoors. The Fest is what launched this originally and now helps us fund our year round activities, including climbing area stewardship and local youth programs, like low cost bouldering summer camps.

Whether you're a local, climber (beginner, pro, or want to learn), or just curious to check out something new, we would love to see you at the Fest this year! Festival FAQs

What's included in a ticket?

We offer multiple ticket levels so you can customize your weekend, but even our lowest ticket level includes access to all events, custom Fest T-shirt, swag bag full of goodies, two free breakfasts & coffee, a $5 local food voucher, special items at our Block Party, free admission to the Aquatic Center and Museum, a ticket to our giant drawing of prizes, yoga and movement classes, access to clinics, and so much more!

Can I bring kids to the Joe's Valley Fest?

You sure can! The Fest is family-friendly. For children aged 12 and under, choose the youth ticket for just $20. (Kids 5 and under are free.) For children aged 13 and older, purchase a separate ticket for each attendee.

What if I can't afford a ticket?

Every year, we offer a pay-what-you-can tickets for those who truly can't afford a full weekend ticket, but quantities are limited. If you can, please support our nonprofit festival, which gives back to the local economy, youth programs, and climbing stewardship work. Free tickets are also available in exchange for volunteering during the Fest. Details here.

Is the Fest accessible?

The Joe’s Valley Fest takes place both in the local towns of Emery County (primarily Castle Dale and Orangeville, UT) as well as on the surrounding public lands. Many of the local artisan clinics and other in town events do take place in local businesses and facilities accessible by paved surfaces. Are pets allowed?

We love to see well behaved furry friends! Please keep animals leashed at Fest events and be sure to clean up after them. If your pets aren't good around crowds, then finding alternative accommodations for them makes sense so you can enjoy your Fest time. We encourage no pets at clinics so you can focus on learning.
