The Spanish Researchers in Australia-Pacific (SRAP) is delighted to present the 12th Australia–Spain Research Forum, bringing together researchers, academics, industry professionals, policymakers and members of the wider community to explore issues of shared interest to Australia and Spain.

This year’s forum, “Environment & Sustainability”, will explore one of the defining challenges of our time: how we can protect our natural environment and build a more sustainable and resilient future.

Through a series of presentations and discussion panels, experts from diverse fields will share their perspectives on environmental challenges, opportunities and innovative solutions, highlighting the role of research, collaboration and knowledge exchange in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).

The forum will also provide an excellent opportunity to connect, exchange ideas and build networks across Australian and Spanish research institutions, universities, industry, government and the broader community.

This is an in-person event, and we encourage you to join us at the University of Sydney for a day of inspiring presentations, engaging discussions and valuable networking.

This edition of the SRAP Forum is sponsored by the Spanish Embassy in Australia, the Australia-Spain Council Foundation, the Ramón Areces Foundation and Instituto Cervantes Sídney, to whom we are extremely grateful for their continuous support.
