Lakeshore PAWS Annual PUP Crawl 2026
Location: Downtown Valparaiso, Central Park Saturday, June 20, 2026
The event starts at 5 pm, Dog walk will start at 6 pm
$30 Early Bird Registration (by June 19, 2026, before 5:00 pm) - includes Lakeshore PAWS swag bag & Pup Crawl 2026 T-shirt. Additional shirts can be purchased.
$35 Same Day Registration- at the park only - includes Lakeshore PAWS swag bag (while supplies last) & Pup Crawl 2026 T-shirt. Additional shirts can be purchased.
Registration is per family, not individual.
Admission to the event is free. Registration is for the dog walk portion of the event only. If you just want to enjoy the event and not walk, you do not need to register.
The event features the Crawpuppies Band, Beer/Wine Tent, Raffles, Food Trucks, and dog-related retail vendors will be on site.

- Is registration per individual or per family?
Registration is per family, not per individual. Each registration includes one T-shirt and one swag bag (while supplies last), with the option to purchase additional T-shirts at checkout. If you would like an additional swag bag, a separate registration is required.
- How long is the walk and where does it begin?
The walk is an easy, family-friendly half-mile stroll through downtown and is not a race. The route will be photographed, and dogs will have opportunities to stop for water along the way. The walk will begin promptly at 6:00 PM at the intersection of Lafayette and Lincolnway. Volunteers will be stationed along the route to guide participants and direct traffic. The walk will conclude at Lafayette and Indiana Avenue.
- Do I need to register if I do not plan on participating in the walk?
No—this is a free community event. Anyone who would like to attend is welcome, and there is no cost to enter the park.

Walk Registration Opens
Pre-registered participants can pick up their T-shirt and swag bag at the table under the pavilion near the front. Simply provide your name to one of our volunteers. Same-day registration will also be available up until 6:00 PM.
- 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Pup Crawl Walk/Parade
The walk will begin at the intersection of Lafayette and Lincolnway. We ask that all participants gather between Rolling Stone Baker and the Orville statue by 5:55 PM so we can start on time.

Pup Crawl
The rest of the night will include music by the Crawpuppies, a Beer/Wine tent, Food vendors, Pet-themed vendors, 50/50 raffle, raffle baskets, adoptable dogs, and more!
