Set on Mrs Macquaries Point, before a backdrop that spans the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge and city skyline, Westpac OpenAir is a stunning celebration of film, food, summer and Sydney lifestyle.

From early evening, a spectacular al fresco dining experience comes alive on the harbour’s edge with leading Sydney chefs serving up their take on the perfect summer menu. At The Point, Luke Nguyen shares his signature Vietnamese-South-Asian street food for up to 1000 guests each night. Danielle Alvarez returns to Summer House Dining with her exceptional prix-fixe menu showcasing local produce, and new in 2026, we’re welcoming a premium seafood-led dining experience to the Chandon Garden. Expect the freshest Sydney rock oysters, buckets of king prawns, crudo and more.

Throughout the event, choose from a mouth-watering list of cocktails, champagne, sparkling, wine, beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Then, as the sun sets over the city, step into the world’s most beautiful cinema, as our massive screen rises from the harbour to stand three storeys high before the city’s twinkling lights. With 32-speaker Dolby digital surround sound, 4k projection and comfortable seating, brace yourself for an extraordinary cinema experience.

The film program is a curated festival of film, featuring premieres, previews, current release blockbusters, the best of art house, as well as a few much-loved classics,

Westpac OpenAir holds something special for anyone who loves creating and experiencing great stories.
