150th Celebration - Newstead Railway

I Hear the Train A-Comin’

Perhaps in our dreams we can hear the train a-comin’, but you can try on Sun 7 July, when Newstead Arts Hub celebrates 150 years since the railway arrived in Newstead.
Imagination is a grand thing.
Come along at 2.30pm to join the community celebration at our former railway station. There will be food, fellowship and a chance to indulge in the nostalgia of yesteryear, when the train service was such an invaluable part of the Newstead community.

Bring your stories, photos or any memorabilia relating to the railway in Newstead … and if you can, please bring a small plate to share - that ageless tradition of rural communities. Beverages will be a available to purchase.
