Looking for a new hobby, or want to show off on the dance floor at your next special event?

West Coast Swing is a partner dance style that can be danced to a huge variety of music: pop, R&B, blues, hip hop, funk, k-pop and much more!

The 4-week Beginner Bootcamp is a crash course that caters to those who are complete beginners (no prior experience required), as well as dancers wanting to brush up on their basics and improve their technique!

Have completed the Beginner Bootcamp previously, feeling confident about your basics, and ready for a challenge? The Improvers (Level 2) Mini Workshops are for you! Each week we will focus on a different concept or skill that will take your dancing to the next level!

NEW SESSION ADDED!

Due to unprecedented demand, we have added a session at 6.15 - 7PM! The Intermediate (Level 3) Mini Workshops series will be run during this time slot. The pricing structure will be identical to that of the Improvers (L2) Mini Workshop series. Please contact us if you have been dancing West Coast Swing for a while, and are looking for a challenge!

You do not need to bring a partner in order to participate as the class will be rotational. Anyone can choose to learn as a lead or follow. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes. Always a good idea to bring a drink bottle and deodorant if you need it.

4-Week Beginner Bootcamp

Early bird - $60 (ends midnight Aug 31st)
General entry - $80
A single payment gets you access to 4 x 1 hour sessions, plus free practice after each session! While it is not mandatory to attend all 4 sessions, it is recommended.

Improvers (L2) Mini Workshops*

Single entry - $20
4-Week Bundle - $60
Each entry gets you access to 1 x 45 minute workshop and FREE practice sessions on the same night! You are also welcome to stay for the Beginner Bootcamp on the same evening IF THERE IS ENOUGH ROOM, otherwise there are many great restaurants and bars around the studio to grab some food or a drink and then come back for practice time!

*Participants are expected to be proficient at the basic patterns and fundamentals covered in the Beginner Bootcamp.

Intermediate (L3) Mini Workshops*

Single entry - $20
4-Week Bundle - $60
Each entry gets you access to 1 x 45 minute workshop and FREE practice sessions on the same night! You are also welcome to stay for the other classes on the same evening IF THERE IS ENOUGH ROOM, otherwise there are many great restaurants and bars around the studio to grab some food or a drink and then come back for practice time!

*In addition to being proficient and confident in all the core patterns and techniques covered in L1 AND L2, participants must also receive approval from any of the WCS Melbourne teaching staff to attend L3 classes
