18th Australasian Botanic Garden Guide Conference

Adelaide is sharing Garden Guiding to like minded groups through our theme of Visions & Visionaries - Past Present & Future and continue the vision of using plants to share our green spaces. We aim to show off Adelaide while sharing information, knowledge and experiences to enhance volunteer guiding in Australasian Botanic Gardens.
Early Adelaide Botanic Garden visionaries created the treasury of gardens still to be seen in the three botanic gardens managed by a Board. The role of the visionary is not limited to the past. New generations search for botanic accuracy, for links to the current from our geological past and for ways to register and in some cases counter the changes being wrought by a changing world.
This conference follows the path of Volunteer Garden Guides meeting regularly since 1983.
