A 40 year celebration of joy, death and glamour!

Join us in performance, installation art and experience!

1986 is a shimmering reflection on forty years of resilience, tragedy, and glamour. Beneath neon light and glittering nostalgia, Amayas aka La Vladimira X invites you into their dreamscape where femininity and transness pulse through joy, pain, and the beautiful wreckage of the 80s. Beyond the beauty lies a call to remember, to reimagine, and to act—because the story of HIV and AIDS is still being written today. Through installations, film, performance, vendors and music Amayas invites you to dream, cry, laugh and have fun with 1986!
