1pm 4th October Wheel Throwing Experience

This 2 hour one on one experience is perfect for beginners and anyone curious about trying the pottery wheel. You'll learn the fundamentals, from centring clay to pulling your walls and shaping your forms, in a relaxed, supportive environment.

With just one wheel in the studio, you'll have my full attention throughout the session, giving you plenty of time to build confidence, ask questions, and enjoy the process of creating with clay.

👐 What's included:
• 2kg of stoneware clay
• Full use of the pottery wheel, tools and studio equipment
• Step by step one on one guidance throughout the session
• Trimming, glazing and firing of up to four finished pieces

🎨 What you'll create:
You'll spend the session learning the foundations of wheel throwing while creating as many pieces as time allows. Together we'll choose your best creations, and up to four pieces will be trimmed, glazed, fired, and ready for collection.

👩‍🎨 Ages: 14 years and over

🧼 Please wear clothes you don't mind getting a little messy or bring an apron.

🕐 Your finished pieces will be trimmed, glazed and fired after the workshop and will be ready for collection approximately 5 weeks later. I'll email you as soon as they're ready.

✨ Please note:
Wheel throwing is a skill that takes practice, and it's completely normal for beginners to have a few wobbles along the way. The focus of this experience is learning, having fun, and enjoying the process. While every care is taken during drying and firing, pottery is a delicate craft and occasional cracks or breakages can occur.

This is a private one on one experience, allowing plenty of time for personalised guidance and a relaxed pace. I can't wait to welcome you into my studio and share the joy of wheel throwing with you.
