Event description

The rumours are true, 2 Brews and a Lie is hitting the road this year for an AUS Tour, with our first stop being beautiful WA!

We can't wait to bring this crowd fave competition your way, this month Perth, and to help us pull it all off, we're collaborating with our dear friends at Micrology Coffee Roasters for a night filled with triangulation, games, prizes, pizza, drinks, and good times! Need we say more?⁠

Also, only $5 a ticket for spectators and $15 a ticket for competitors, and all proceeds are going to the local charity - A Stitch in Time, a dedicated non-profit agency committed to promoting mental health awareness and providing vital support to individuals in need.⁠

Now for the nitty-gritty of how the comp will go down. Competitors will be presented with three sets of three mysterious cups of coffee. Like a triangulation, two of the cups in each set will be identical brews, while one will be a 'Lie'— a cleverly crafted concoction that tries to fool your senses! Your mission, if you choose to accept, is to taste, analyse, and confidently identify the 'Lie' from the three cups in front of you the quickest.

This competition isn't just about bragging rights by the way, we do have some pretty cool prizes up for grabs for our top 3, thanks to our sponsor and friends at Sttoke! Not to mention the comp coffees will be presented to our competitors in the brand-spanking-new ‘Swirl’ cupping bowls designed by Sttoke and the 2023 World Cup Taster’s Champion - Young Baek. How could you not be Sttoked about that?⁠
