Event description

“The economics of today’s food system are, sadly, broken beyond repair. Its so-called ‘hidden costs’ are harming our health and degrading our planet, while also worsening global inequalities. Changing the ways we produce and consume food will be critical to tackling climate change, protecting biodiversity, and building a better future. It is time for radical change.” (Sir Nicholas Stern, the chair of the Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change and the Environment at the London School of Economics)

It's Food Connect's 20th Birthday this year and we're doing lots of fun things to celebrate: like reconnecting with farmer catch ups, 🤠 getting a new buyers co-op started at the Shed 🥕 , and working strategically on food systems change - but THIS event is really where the fun is to be had! 🎉

Rob and EK would love your support to keep doing the good work of supporting communities to create regenerative food systems. We have a strategic plan, we have a business plan, we have two centrepiece programs ready to roll that will create HUGE impact on regional communities and urban eaters all over this country. After 20 years of creating positive impact locally, and helping to build a national movement, we're using this lived experience to work more strategically in food systems change.
