The celebration will highlight community successes, cultural performances, music, dance, and stories of resilience and unity that reflect the spirit of Zambia. It’s not only a look back at two decades of OZALIWA’s journey but also a proud celebration of how Zambians have thrived and made an impact in Western Australia.

Organisation of Zambians Living in Western Australia (OZALIWA) an incorporated not-for-profit association representing the Zambian community in WA as well persons in the general WA community who have an interest in the objectives of the Association. Broadly speaking, those objectives include:

To identify and serve the needs of Zambians living in Western Australia including mentoring of youths, settlement and bereavements;
To promote awareness of Zambian culture in Western Australia;
To foster cooperation between Zambians and other communities in Western Australia;
To establish and foster interaction between Zambians living in Western Australia and the broader Western Australian community on social, spiritual and intellectual matters;
To provide a forum for the dissemination, discussion and debate of information and knowledge about matters of interest for Zambians living in Western Australia;
To nurture, promote, develop and, protect the interest of Zambians in Western Australia.
