Dear Friends in our local community

Uraidla and the surrounding District has transformed itself and developed a momentum of increased community activity and interaction. Along with the local community and businesses, Imagine Uraidla Inc. has been able to realise some fantastic success. We’re writing to invite you to become a dedicated supporter of Imagine Uraidla Inc. through an annual subscription so we can  continue to connect our community, promote community activities and highlight our local attractions and businesses. 

What does being a dedicated supporter mean?

Subscription fees are $24 per year per household and $54 per year per business. Your support will help us:

•   Continue writing and sending our newsletters
•   Keep our website live
•   Connect local community and businesses on social media (Facebook and Instagram)
•   Arrange events for everyone 
•   Coordinating imagineers for local events
•   Print posters to let you know what’s going on
•   Make newcomers feel welcome through a welcome pack
•  Businesses will be listed on our website and in every newsletter as dedicated supporters 

Who is Imagine Uraidla Inc and why do we need your support?

Imagine Uraidla Inc. is run by a small group of committed volunteers. We want to make your community the best place to live and  to do this, we need a regular source of income to meet our modest expenses. Therefore, we invite you to become a Dedicated Supporter of Imagine Uraidla Inc. by contributing a $24 annual subscription per family/ household or $54 per business per year.

How did Imagine Uraidla Inc start? 

Imagine Uraidla Inc. began in 2014 when businesses were closing, the main street had deteriorated and community activity was declining. The Imagine Uraidla committee has been a catalyst to revitalising the town and highlight local cultural, environmental, agricultural and social assets. 

Street banners, planter boxes, community events and two years of successfully hosting the Tour Down Under have given the Uraidla Main Street an exciting feel and most recently allowed us to win Best Regional Main Street in SA.  Current and future activities via the various sub-committees, formed at the ‘Five Years On’ forum held in July 2019, include rejuvenating the Institute Hall, local sustainability actions, promoting a range of cultural events, walking trails, transport connections, a community notice board, to name a few! One thing is for sure, the future is exciting and we want you to be part of it.
