2021 Hunter Valley Family Law Seminar 

19 November 2021 - City Hall, Newcastle NSW

Presented by Hunter Valley Family Law Practitioners Association, in association  with the Newcastle Registry of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia

The Program for the Seminar will be as follows:

8am - 8.45am - Registration
9am - 5pm - Seminar (including breaks for morning tea, lunch & afternoon
tea)


The seminar will be followed by HVFLPA Annual Christmas Party - commencing from 5.30pm at The Landing Bar & Kitchen, 1 Honeysuckle Drive, Newcastle.

REGISTRATION FEES

For non 2021 HVFLPA members: delegate tickets are $150.00 which includes seminar registration, plus 2022 membership to the Hunter Valley Family Law Practitioners Association. 

For 2021 HVFLPA members: delegate tickets are $100.00 which includes seminar registration.

Both ticket options include: 

  • morning tea
  • lunch 
  • afternoon tea
  • all published papers
  • Ticket to the Christmas Party (following the seminar)

Attendance at the Conference

  1. HVFLPA reserves the right to request delegates provide identification and/or confirmation of their current resident address and/or place of work.
  2. All delegates attending the conference shall comply with any applicable Commonwealth, State or Territory COVID-19 restrictions in force at that time.
  3. HVFLPA reserves the right to refuse a delegates attendance at the Conference if:
    a.  In the past 14 days the delegate has lived or worked in an identified COVID-19 hot-spot;
    b.  The delegate has received communication from NSW Health (or any other State government health authority) indicating they are a close or casual contact and required to self-isolate;
    c.  The delegate is experiencing flu-like symptoms and is unable to provide confirmation of a negative COVID-19 test result.

Refund/Cancellation Policy

  1. If a registered delegate is unable to attend the Conference for any one of the following reasons:
    1. being subjected to a ‘stay-at-home’ Order at the time of the Conference due to living or working in a COVID-19 hot-spot;
    2. In the 14 days prior to 19 November 2021, having worked or visited an area identified as a COVID-19 hot-spot;
    3. At the time of the Conference, they are required to self-isolate due to either being exposed to COVID-19, testing positive to COVID-19 or awaiting COVID-19 test results; or
    4. Due to border closures or restrictions imposed by a State or Territory government due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

the delegate may be entitled to a full refund or be offered an opportunity to attend the Conference electronically.
