Mill House 2021 Programs Launch
Event description
Join us for the 2021 Mill House Social Enterprise Accelerator Programs and Impact Report Launch. Â
This year, we will also be featuring four community social enterprises who have been part of our programs and are seeking support (funding & and in-kind) for their new initiatives.   Â
Â
Each year Mill House Ventures evolves its programs to best meet the needs of the emerging and growing for-purpose venture sector. Â Â
This year, we are focusing on social enterprises that support our region’s post-COVID recovery by providing support for individuals that are disproportionately impacted including youth, women, migrants, those working in creative industries.  Â
For changemakers who are thinking of starting a for-purpose venture, the program launch will be a great opportunity to learn more about the services and programs specifically on offer at the Mill House, the social innovation node of the Canberra Innovation Network.
Who’s invited?  Social impact investors, community development practitioners, students and alumni of our various programs.  Basically- Anyone!  We believe that any one can be an agent of change using for-purpose business enterprise and our programs to attract very diverse people—from all walks of life, levels of business and community experience. Â
The Mill House Ventures is hosting our 2021 inclusive giving fundraiser event to showcase Social Ventures from our programs.Â
We have selected amazing graduates of our flagship Social Enterprise Accelerator Program, plus Catalyse For Purpose Business (our incubator program) and from our consulting work. They will share information about their journey and the impact they hope to have in Canberra and the region.  Â
The audience will be invited to respond to their pitches by pledging a tax-deductible donation or in-kind support in a fun live crowdfunding event. Â
