The RHHRF’s Melbourne Cup Lunch supporting medical research is BACK!

This year we move to Hobart’s Waterfront and we are excited to be working with the team at The Lounge by Frogmore Creek to deliver a special event with our event partner Jaguar Land Rover.

Springtime is a wonderful time of year in Hobart, and like the unending change of seasons, the need for medical research doesn’t stop!  We are proud and excited to bring this much-anticipated event to you in 2021, and we are so appreciative of the valuable support from generous Tasmanian businesses who have jumped on board to ensure this vital fundraiser goes ahead.

As always, this event will be filled with fun, food, fabulous fashion and, of course, a decent serve of horse racing.

Event details

Date: Melbourne Cup Day - Tuesday 2 November 2021
Time: 1pm arrival for a drink on the deck with canapes followed by an afternoon of fun and fashion.
Lunch concludes at 3.30pm.
Venue: The Lounge by Frogmore Creek

Tickets: $179 each – this includes arrival Gin & Tonic on the deck, a 3-course lunch, beverages throughout and all the fun and entertainment you would anticipate.

If you wish to come as a group, options are available at ticket selection, or please contact the team at the office if you’d like to discuss this in more detail. We are sure we will have something to fit your group.

We know that Tasmanians are eager to support each other while having some fun after such a challenging year for so many!  Get your friends together and book in your tickets early before these sell out!

Your support at this event will go towards our competitive Grants Program which invests over $600,000 each year in local medical research. The Foundation funds a variety of local research investigations aimed at benefiting the health and wellbeing of all Tasmanians, now and into the future.

For more information on this wonderful event please contact the RHH Research Foundation on 6166 1321 or research@rhhresearchfoundation.org.

COVID SAFETY:

Please note we want our valuable supporters to know that we are 100% committed to keeping everyone COVID-safe, as well as being able to provide fair refunds if these uncertain times throw up any challenges that might indicate the event can’t go ahead.  Of course, we hope this doesn’t happen… but we want you to know we understand (as you do too) the ever-changing event environment we are currently living in.
