The Hut Community Centre is excited to announce that the Stirling Christmas pageant, fair and market will return in 2022 – mark the first Sunday in December in your diary now! Celebrating the environmental awareness of the Hills community, the Pageant will this year be ‘A Planet friendly Pageant’.

Not only will the Pageant recreate our traditional celebration of the arrival of Father Christmas but the pageant, fair and market will encourage an awareness of the magic we can create with a light footprint on the planet.

Floats will be dressed with creative attention to their environmental impact. Re-used, repurposed and upcycled decoration will be applauded. Floats themed to connect Christmas and our wonderful planet are encouraged.

Father Christmas will arrive at the Stirling Oval about 4.30pm and the Fair and Market will move into full swing. This special family event will provide entertainment for all ages – bouncy castle, music, food and refreshments. Bring your own picnic if you wish.

Gift giving is a feature of our Christmas celebrations and the market will provide an opportunity for finding gifts created by local artists and businesses.

Held on Sunday 4th December from 4pm, the Stirling Community Christmas Pageant brings delight to all of the Hills Community.

The parade commences on Druid Ave Stirling and makes its way to the Stirling Oval where floats can be on display.

Entry to the pageant is free and a prize for 'Best Dressed' float is provided to a local community group.

Note*** When booking a float/vehicle or a group of walkers please only register one ticket per group.

The Fair and Market provides an afternoon of live music, family activities, sideshows, animal nursery, food stalls and many market stalls for the purchase of Christmas gifts.
